At HTX Black Tennis Club, our tournaments are more than competition—they are intentional community investments. Each event helps fund and expand programming delivered through Third Ward Tennis Association, Inc., supporting free and low-cost access to tennis, youth development, and community-building initiatives across Houston.
Community Champions Charity Open
In Partnership with UNICEF Next Gen Houston
Join us for a purpose-driven tennis tournament supporting children and families worldwide through UNICEF’s mission. This community-focused event brings together tennis, philanthropy, and impact.

🌍 Impact: Proceeds from this tournament help fund global child advocacy efforts through UNICEF while also supporting local tennis access programs led by Third Ward Tennis Association.
Through these tournaments, we’re creating pathways for more people—especially Black youth and adults—to experience tennis, build confidence, and access safe, supportive spaces to play and grow.
Second Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament
Our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament honors survivors, supports awareness, and brings our community together through tennis and solidarity.
